Epic Privacy Browser is an Indian-built, Chromium-based web browser developed by Bangalore-based Hidden Reflex, founded by Alok Bhardwaj. First released in 2010, Epic was one of the earliest browsers to make privacy its core selling point — it was the first Chromium browser to include a built-in encrypted VPN proxy. Available on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, it positions itself as a zero-tracking alternative to Chrome and Edge. However, it sacrifices convenience — no user profiles, no auto-fill, no sync across devices, and the VPN has been reported as unreliable in recent updates.
