JioSaavn is India's largest music streaming app, formed by the 2018 merger of Reliance Jio's music service and Saavn. Its own Play Store listing calls it "India's leading FREE music app", with 8 crore+ (80 million) songs across 16 languages, a 4.4 rating from about 8.9 million ratings and 100M+ installs. Free ad-supported streaming; JioSaavn Pro adds ad-free listening, downloads and higher audio quality.

Kuku FM is an Indian audio app for audiobooks, serialised audio series, book summaries and self-help courses in Hindi and other Indian languages. Run by Kuku Technologies Limited from Bengaluru, it carries 100M+ Play Store installs and a 4.2 rating from about 1.5 million ratings. It is the largest home-grown alternative to Audible and Storytel — but it is a paid subscription product, and its ₹1 three-day trial auto-renews.
